The Client

SDICAC is the San Diego Branch of Internet Crimes Against Children. This task force works with local police, sheriff, FBI, and other federal prosecuting agencies to keep children safe from Internet predators. SDICAC needed a complete site overhaul so they could easily keep the public informed about their work and new potential threats. They were referred to us by an existing client, Innocent Justice. We depend on word-of-mouth business and appreciated the recommendation as well as the chance work with another non-profit organization.

The Project

We began with a custom design, hand crafted an HTML/CSS template and then ported that into a WordPress theme. It was important to the SDICAC to keep their site easy to use and maintain; we did not stray from that core idea.

The site utilizes core WordPress functionality for virtually everything. Pages make up the main structure and posts are used their News section. We modified the main caption shortcode to create the text over image functionality.
