For the second year in a row, the BinaryM team is putting San Diego in our rear view mirror and heading north for WordCamp LA. For those of you who are not familiar with WordCamps, they are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users that cater to everyone from casual users to core developers. Simply put, if you have an interest in WordPress and are not tied to the couch watching football this weekend, you should pony up the $25.00 and head to the Loyola Marymount campus.
Austin Passy (aka The Frosty) and team have done an outstanding job with this event in the past and we are excited to announce that BinaryM has signed on as a sponsor for WordCamp LA. It is also good to see the friendly faces at 9seeds and page.ly will be there as well.
Lastly, Matt and I are thrilled to hear that our good friend Luke Pilon over at Mobiah has signed on as a speaker. BinaryM has been working with Mobiah on their GeoPosty project and can not wait to hear what Luke has in store for the group. If you are a WordPress user and delivering relevant content is a focus, GeoPosty is a location-aware plugin that you should check out.
