Pala Casino – So Many Ways to Win

We’re very happy to announce that Pala Casino’s new website is now live! We worked with our friends over at Mobiah to modernize their site. We deployed a highly customized WordPress installation that features several custom plugins.

Pala Casino needed the ability to have a development site to test any content changes before going live. We created a plugin that allows them to syncronize their development website to their production website with a single click. We make a backup copy of their database, replace all development URLS with production URLs, push the database to production and sync all files with rsync.

Another requirement was publishing and removing content on specific dates. We used custom fields and WordPress’s pseudo cron to accomplish this.

The featured events at the bottom of the site are managed with Pods CMS.
